Lady of the Sea General Hospital is an 84,000 square foot replacement critical access hospital located in Cut Off, LA. The completion of this facility in early 2026 restored essential services the South LaFourche community has been without since Hurricane Ida in 2021.
The facility includes a 15-bed Inpatient Unit, 9-bed Emergency Department, Lab, Pharmacy, Cardiopulmonary, and Imaging, which includes CT, MRI, Radiology, Fluoroscopy, Mammography, Dexa, and Ultrasound. The new hospital also provides administration and business offices and a large community room.
LaFourche Parish has proven to be one of the most resilient communities and the new permanent hospital is a reflection of the strength of its community. With the opening of this facility, LaFourche Parish can provide healthcare services close to home for many years to come.
