WHLC joined Ochsner Lafayette General at their ribbon-cutting and grand opening of the Ochsner Lafayette General Andrews Orthopedic & Sports Medicine Institute in Lafayette on November 11. This transformative project includes a 14,000-square-foot addition and a 17,000-square-foot renovation of the existing medical office building, located adjacent to the Ochsner Lafayette General Orthopedic Hospital. Together, these enhancements create a cohesive environment that supports healing, performance, and connection—reinforcing the hospital's commitment to comprehensive orthopedic care and sports performance.

The facility features state-of-the-art sports performance and physical therapy gyms to support advanced rehabilitation and athletic training. Professional-grade indoor and outdoor turf provides expanded therapy and training opportunities. A dedicated covered entry and a new elevator leading directly to the orthopedic clinic areas improve accessibility and ease of movement for patients and staff. The renovated third floor expands the orthopedic clinical and diagnostic spaces. All these features help provide a seamless, patient-centered experience under one roof for the community.

This project expands services for Orthopedic, Physical Therapy, and Sports Performance patients.
