US Department of Justice, Livingston Building

Baton Rouge, LA

As part of the State Capitol Master Plan, the Livingston Building incorporates historic Art Deco character within a modern governmental facility. Accommodating the 475-person U.S. Department of Justice, the seven-story structure addresses the scale of adjacent buildings with multiple massing setbacks. The landscaped entry plaza, monumentally scaled entry colonnade, and formal 2-story lobby present a distinguished governmental image for the State of Louisiana.
