Loxley Transit Hub

The Loxley Transit Hub serves as a much-needed gathering point for commuters and visitors at the Loxley Municipal Park.

Featuring an entry plaza, pavilion with restrooms, ADA-accessible sidewalks, added parking, and improved signage, the building enhances both accessibility and amenities within the park. Nestled among the trees, the traditionally-styled entry structure coordinates with the surrounding residential neighborhood and connects to 6,000 sf of covered, multi-use space for community use. The hub was constructed by Waverly Construction of Alabama, with the structural design being provided by S.E. Civil Engineering and landscape design by Christian Preus Landscape Architecture. 

This project marks ongoing progress for the City of Loxley as they expand their public transportation services and park amenities for the growing community.
