Louisiana State Fire Marshall Office Building

The design for Office of the State Fire Marshal is part of the Department of Public Safety's Masterplan on the Independence Boulevard Site. It responds to the character of the other buildings while creating its own distinct identity. The generous glass entry lobby that is screened from the harsh southern sun through the use of deep overhangs and deep mullions, creates an inviting space for the numerous visitors to this building, while the thoughtful plan has improved the overall efficiency of the Office of the State Fire Marshal.
