The new fieldhouse will serve the NCAA Division 1 Nicholls Colonels varsity intercollegiate baseball team at the Ray E. Didier Field. The 2-story 10,000 sf facility entails a ground floor of spaces for umpires, coaches, and players with Locker Room/Lounge, Training Room, and Conference Room. An upper level provides a Game Day Suite with expansive views toward the field, shaded Observation Deck, and VIP seating.
The adjacent Grandstand will be expanded with additional seating and a central canopy to complete this expansion of sports facilities at Nicholls State University.
