Maddux Parfait

Student Intern

Maddux Parfait is a summer intern at WHLC Architecture and a third year architecture student at Louisiana State University. Maddux is driven by a strong interest in understanding the relationship between the built environment and human experience, with a particular curiosity for how design shapes the way spaces are perceived and used.

Maddux is especially drawn to civic and specialized architecture, where thoughtful design can leave a lasting impact on communities and users. This summer, Maddux is focused on gaining a deeper understanding of architectural practice while continuing to develop technical and design skills that support future academic and professional work.

With an interest in both digital and analog design processes, Maddux enjoys advancing software proficiency alongside sketching and hands-on creative exploration. Outside of the studio, Maddux can be found thrifting, staying active, and continuing to build creative skills.
