Katie Carter

Katie Carter is the Marketing Manager at WHLC Architecture, where she leads the development of proposals, qualifications, and marketing materials that support the firm's continued growth. With more than 20 years of professional experience in communications and marketing, Katie brings a strategic, systems-driven approach to managing complex pursuits and firmwide messaging. She is particularly focused on creating efficient workflows and organized systems that streamline proposal development and ensure consistent, high-quality submissions. 

Katie plays a key role in helping WHLC secure new work by translating the firm's experience and expertise into clear, compelling narratives. Known for her detail-oriented and analytical approach, she supports both leadership and project teams by keeping marketing efforts aligned, accurate, and responsive to opportunity.

Outside of work, Katie enjoys crafting, supporting her son's involvement in high school band, practicing Spanish at a weekly conversation group, and volunteering with the Native Plant Initiative of Greater New Orleans.
